Spurs likely to take a rest

It’s a pretty much pointless second leg play-off tonight at White Hart Lane for their Europa League play off match (second leg) against Dinamo Tbilisi.

Spurs hold a 5-0 first leg lead and the expectation must be that Andre Villas-Boas uses the occasion for a little bit of ‘experimentation’ tonight which gives an edge in to Star Spreads punters.

Tottenham will be without Gareth Bale, who is close to joining Real Madrid, whilst Aaron Lennon missed training on Wednesday because of a foot injury. Add in to that Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) and Emmanuel Adebayor being unlikely to be involved with their club futures in doubt.

But the biggest reason for resting bigger names is Sunday’s North London derby against Arsenal.

With all this in mind the Georgian side looks to high at around 2.1 – 2.3

In what could be the polar opposite of the first leg (even a 0-0′er) I’m selling at around 2.1.
