An all European final on Sunday is guaranteed after Holland withstood a grandstand finish from Uruguay to triumph in Cape Town.

The massive pre-tournament gamble on the Dutch means they will be supported by the majority of neutrals, but how many are regretting not only telling the world, but also their wives that they are on Holland at nice prices? And why aren’t Champions League finalists Sneijder, Robben & van Bommel as tired as the poor English players were?

Without wanting to labour the point, the business end of World Cup 2010 have been so darned exhilarating, the boring Group Stages in early June have become a distant memory. The Bank of Free Money that was seeing plenty of business from those getting short of goals back then has closed, with buyers now in clover, but will the remaining semi, between Euro 2008 finalists Spain and Germany, live up to expectations? Money has been pouring in on the Germans to qualify, but Star make Spain 0.15 goal favs, with Total Goals quoted at 2.3-2.5 at the time of writing.
