Calmer and Karma

My missus bought me a t-shirt with the war time logo of “Keep Calm and Carry On” printed on it.

Now I’m not sure if she thought the logo appropriate for me or was just following my instructions (if you ever find a Triple XL t-shirt in the shops just buy it regardless of colour/logo etc.). Now I’ve never been a fashionista, never had a Frankie Says Relax t-shirt, so I was surprised with how many comments it got out on the streets as people seem to warm to that sentiment.

This wartime sentiment seems to be good advice for most situations as panic never seems to be the answer and just makes you feel worse. Thinking back on it this has probably been my mantra from an early age as I have a reputation as an easy going fella and don’t have much time for drama queens.

Drastic actions taken on the spur of the moment often go wrong and can’t be justified whilst reflecting on all aspects of a matter means if you do end up taking drastic action you can more likely justify it even if it turns out to go tits up. Now I want to get a mutated version of the T-shirt that says “Keep Calm and Curry On” for my mates’ Curry Club nights but have not found one yet so will probably get one printed. Anyhoo keep calm and carry on.
