NFL Trilogy… The Ugly

The Ugly is that special category for teams that might go 0-16, its a special group where Miami and the Colts have found themselves over the past few years.

Thankfully they never stay there to long because if they are bad the draft, will over time make them a better team. To try and pick a team in the NFL that will go 0-16 is extremely difficult as you can imagine…. it is essentially just like trying to pick a team that will go 16-0.

The way the NFL is set up so many things need to go wrong to go 0-16 and so many things need to go right for you to go 16-0. I really think Oakland are going to be bad this season, they did manage to go 8-8 last season but they lost 4 games out of there last 5 and they had to give up so much in the way of draft picks to get Palmer that there draft experience was not one that they would like to remember. Their saving grace might be that they are in a division that is far from the strongest in the league but I do not think that this will be enough to stop them from having a losing season.

Another team that could possibly go 0-16 is the Jets, they were a team that went 8-8 last season but with Sanchez or Tebow at the QB spot I cannot see them improving on this record (although Tim Tebow’s run last year is still somewhat of a mystery to me I just cant see him being able to pull it off again). With the patriots in that division it will be difficult to go on any real run and both Miami and Buffalo in my opinion had better draft picks than the jets.

As usual in the NFL things are never as they seem and there will always be surprises but good look with your punting and if you support either of the two teams mentioned above you never know they might just prove me wrong.
