All Star Value Squadron

With comic book movies taking over the world at the moment and me already being a massive comic book reader/fan I have decided to make my own ‘Super Hero Punting Squad’. The characters in this blog may or may not be based on real people.

The All Star Value Squadron, or A.S.V.S as the ‘shrewdies’ call it, consist of three of the world’s mightiest punting powers. Let’s take a look at the members of the A.S.V.S.

Professor-S:

A born leader of men, the professor has one of the most powerful minds in the betting universe.

As a high level telepath, Professor-S can read, control and Influence the minds of Equus Ferus Caballus. A mathematical genius, he is also a leading authority on a number of other betting mediums.

Throughout most of his time with the team, Professor-S uses his telepathic powers to keep in contact with the A.S.V.S and provides instructions and advice when needed. In addition, he uses a special machine called Cerebro, which enhances his ability to detect value and allows the team to hoover up positive EV bets.

The Natural:

Despite his inhuman appearance the Natural is a brilliant man of the arts and sciences. He is a world authority on statistical analysis and American sports. He is the mathematics instructor at the ‘A.S.V.S Institute’ where Captain Fantastic is currently studying.

The Naturals father was exposed to radiation while on a flight passing over a nuclear power plant many years before his birth. Because of this, it seems to be the reason why The Natural was born with unusual features and an amazingly high I.Q.

He had a huge curiosity as a child, disarming all around so he could understand the function of everything and to create hypothesis. This has led him to becoming a world renowned statistician. He brings a lot to the team with his quick reactions and lightning speed evaluation of price moves.

He is also the brother of the world renowned poker genius ‘Clock-Maker’. The Natural has been known to go into ‘Beast Mode’ when he has a big winner due to the high amounts of radiation in his blood stream.

Captain Fantastic:

The dashing and charismatic Captain Fantastic is the youngest and newest member of the A.S.V.S. But his good looks and natural charm hide a darker past.

Five years ago, Professor-S felt the presence of a great but troubled punting intelligence somewhere in Dublin’s underworld.

Professor-S set out on a rescue mission and found Captain Fantastic, or “The Darkness” as he was then known, living a half-life between betting shops and alleyways, grinding out a living on pure punting instinct alone.

Reluctant at first to leave his past behind, Captain Fantastic’s skills began to develop within days of joining the A.S.V.S. institute. No one yet knows just how powerful Captain Fantastic is destined to become, but Professor S was once overheard saying that he has the potential become the world’s first ever ‘Category 6 Shrewdie’.
