Newcastle v Arsenal Betting Preview
It’s the final day of the Premier League campaign, and from an Arsenal fans perspective, it feels like a cup final! A win against Newcastle not only gives us a place in the Champions League for yet another season, but most importantly, we condemn Spurs to another year of Europa League mediocrity. *Sniggers*
There’s also the possibility that Arsenal snatch 3rd place from Chelsea if they were to drop points and we were to win by a margin or 2 or more goals. Right, enough of the nonsense for now (my nerves are gone and it’s only Friday!) let’s have a look at the game and see if we can sniff out a few value bets on both the fixed odds and the spreads.
Loyalty aside, and I mean that. There is value to be had in backing Arsenal to beat Newcastle @ 4/7. They have it all to play for; whereas Newcastle are safe, and most importantly, the Magpies are rubbish. This is a game that Arsenal will win in comfort and I am in no doubt that come half-time I’ll have my feet up with a cold bee, safe in the knowledge that we’ll be back in the Champions League next season.
Who’s gonna score for us, you say? They call that man Theo Walcott. Ever since he signed a new contract, he has really stepped up and has played a large part in Arsenal still being in the top-four picture. I fully expect Theo to bag at least one goal in this game to top off what has been a very impressive season for him. I’ll be buying his goal minutes at @ 25 with Spreadex and spending my winnings on Sunday night!
