Arsenal the thorn in West Brom's side

The Sky cameras are at the Hawthorns on Sunday for West Brom v Arsenal (4pm) and a win for the Gunners will see them go top of the Premier League.

And you’ll have to say that’s a very likely scenario given the damning stat that West Brom have won just one of their last 12 matches against Arsenal.

HEAD TO HEAD
(Last 10 only)
Sep 2013 Capital One West Brom 1-1 Arsenal
Apr 2013 Premier West Brom 1-2 Arsenal
Dec 2012 Premier Arsenal 2-0 West Brom
May 2012 Premier West Brom 2-3 Arsenal
Nov 2011 Premier Arsenal 3-0 West Brom
Mar 2011 Premier West Brom 2-2 Arsenal
Sep 2010 Premier Arsenal 2-3 West Brom
Sep 2009 Carling Cup Arsenal 2-0 West Brom
Mar 2009 Premier West Brom 1-3 Arsenal
Aug 2008 Premier Arsenal 1-0 West Brom

Arsenal come into this on the back of a midweek 2-0 win against Napoli in the Champions League but the Baggies will also come into this match with confidence after their remarkable 2-1 defeat of Manchester United at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Morgan Amalfitano and Saido Berahino in the second half.

It’s less than two weeks since the teams last clashed in a 1-1 draw in the Capital One Cup but with more at stake today Arsenal are expected to dominate and move to the top of the table.

West Brom also have significant injury worries. Victor Anichebe, Nicolas Anelka and Shane Long are all doubtful and Scott Sinclair has been ruled out until after the international break with a hamstring problem.

I’m going to get stuck into the supremacy market on Star Spreads with a buy on Arsenal / West Brom at around 0.9.

ADVICE

Buy ARSENAL/WEST BROM supremacy at around 0.9
