Celtic v Barcelona
That Kenny Rogers was right after all.
“You never count your money when you’re sitting at the table”, or perhaps the updated version “You never count your money when you’ve bought Everton supremacy and they are 3-0 up at half-time.”
Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, but I can’t believe (especially how poorly Newcastle played in the first half) that they fought back to 3-2 and convert a sure fire profit on Star Spreads to a loss – only of 0.1 points but still a loss
Champions League matchday 2 (I’m not convinced by this newfangled ‘matchday’ business by the way, but I’ve said it), and to Parkhead for Celtic v Barcelona.
Considering it’s Barcelona, Celtic don’t have such a bad record – the highlight of course being their stunning 2-1 win this competition last season.

Celtic supporters will take comfort from the fact that Lionel Messi will not start due to a thigh injury and the fact that Celtic played well against Milan on matchday one before succumbing to two goals inside the last eight minutes.
Barcelona though are showing no signs of weakness and have started their domestic season with seven straight victories and beat Ajax 4-0 in their opening Group H Champions League game.
I’m not expecting Celtic to repeat their win of last year, but equally, not expecting Barcelona to run away with it. So I’m having a dabble on the Barcelona / Celtic supremacy and a sell at around 1.3.
SELL BARCELONA / CELTIC supremacy at around 1.3
