Man City v Bayern Munich
I ended up with a small profit of 0.3 points last night after a sell on the Barcelona / Celtic supremacy market with Star Spreads.
For a long time I thought it was destined for a 0-0 which would have been nicer and it was a game, for me, that didn’t even come close to living up to the pre-match hype.
Perhaps Messi is crucial after all to putting the spark into Barcelona.
Champions League action again tonight and hopefully a little more bang for our buck in terms of action.
Certainly on paper it should be a cracker at the Etihad. Last year’s champions Bayern Munich against a Man City side who have now scored 15 goals in four games at home this season and conceded just one. Those stats include their 4-1 demolition job on Man U,
City and Bayern have played each other twice competitively, both meetings taking place at the group stage in the Champions League in 2011.
HEAD TO HEAD RECORD
(Max last 10 only)
Dec 2011 C.League Man City 2-0 B Munich
Sep 2011 C.League B Munich 2-0 Man City
David Silva is expected to return after missing five games since suffering a thigh injury on international duty.
Striker Sergio Aguero, not risked in Saturday’s Barclays Premier League defeat at Aston Villa due to a minor knock, is also likely to feature in the Group D clash.
Not sure there’ll be too many goals in this one. A classic case of two good in form teams cancelling each other out.
As such I am a seller with Star Spreads at around 2.85 on the Total Goals market.
ADVICE
SELL TOTAL GOALS at around 2.85
