After 38 years – the same result ?
Got a feeling this may end up the same score as when these two teams last met.
Mind you – you need to turn the calendar, and not the clock, back because it was 38 years ago when Man U beat Cardiff 4-0 at Old Trafford.
The head to head stats go back to 1955 – and Cardiff have only beaten Man U once in the ‘last’ 10 encounters. The form book from 1955 admittedly probably isn’t too relevant for this afternoon’s 4pm match !

Chelsea and Arsenal both won yesterday to maintain their places at the top of the Premier League and with Man City and Spurs playing earlier in the afternoon, this may well turn out to be a ‘must win’ game for Man U.
Cardiff have not done badly so far in the Premier League, currently in 15th, the highlight being their 1-0 defeat of rivals Swansea where the bragging rights counted for more than the three points.
Unfortunately for them, they meet a Man U side who are starting to play good football again after a shaky start.
Man U are now unbeaten in nine matches with six of those outings ending in victory including a massive 1-0 win over Arsenal last time out.
The Star Spreads total goals market is set at around 2.7-2.9 and there’s only one way I can play that – and that’s a buy.
ADVICE
BUY GOALS at around 2.9.
