Gateshead Angel's tough to get past….
The England v Germany game produced a profit for me last night with a buy of Germany at 0.25 on Star Spreads.
From Wembley and England v Germany to the North East tonight and Gateshead v Oxford at the International Stadium – a stones throw from the Angel Of The North.
And who’s to say we won’t see a better game than last night ?
Certainly the first encounter between these two sides produced an entertaining game which ended 2-2 at the Kassam Stadium.
Gateshead had a 2-0 lead and will no doubt be thinking they should be already in the next round of the FA Cup but were thwarted by Danny Roses’s injury time winner.
An away tie against Wrexham awaits the winners in the second round and marginal favourites are Oxford who have won six of their nine away matches this season.
Gateshead from the Conference are a league lower than their League Two visitors but with home advantage should again test Oxford.
Not sure we’ll be any the wiser after 90 minutes in a match that could go the distance and be very tight and on that basis, I’m a seller of total goals at around 2.45.
