Man U may struggle to reign in Spain
A small profit on the Wolverhampton distances yesterday.
Man U and Real Sociedad played out what would have been a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford back on the 23rd October but for an unfortunate early own goal which gave the hosts a 1-0 win.
Man U enjoyed 55% of the possession but with home advantage to Sociedad tonight it could be a lot closer.
In the reverse leg tonight at the Anoeta Stadium in Spain Man U find themselves top of Group A with seven points from three games while Sociedad are still to score a single point and sit at the foot of the table.
Man U are without defenders Jonny Evans and Rafael and in truth it’s a game they don’t necessarily need to win. David Moyes will also have one eye on the crucial Premier League clash on Saturday against leaders Arsenal at Old Trafford.
In terms of a bet the bookings index with Star Spreads makes some appeal at around 44-48.
The Old Trafford leg produced five yellows from ref Bas Nijhuis.
I’m also a seller of total goals at around 2.5.
