Buying goals at White Hart Lane
Very pleased with Man City’s win yesterday, even though the 6-3 scoreline was totally impossible to predict.
Arsenal’s wings have been well and truly clipped and it’s not been a good week for the North Londoners after losing 2-0 in the Champions League to Napoli and losing top spot in their qualifying group.
Plenty of other sides breathed a sigh of relief yesterday though as City closed the gap and kept the top of the Premier League wide open.
It was billed as the ‘most open Premier League ever’ and – for once – the hype is proving right.
There’s a big game at White Hart Lane today as Spurs host Liverpool – two teams who can get themselves right back into contention with three points.
Liverpool would move into third, and Spurs into fifth in an encounter which usually provides plenty of goals..

With Spurs defence still proving easy to breach it looks as though it will be another goalfest (but surely not a 6-3).
Spurs seem to be getting their season going again after being slammed 6-0 by Man City last month and have since had wins at Sunderland and Fulham.
Liverpool have lost on their last six visits to White Hart Lane and the injury to Steven Gerrard hardly inspires confidence that things are about to change today.
The play on Star Spreads looks to be buying total goals at around 2.95.
