Graham's Premier League Preview

Published On December 20, 2013 | By dominic | Graham, Star Spreads

Liverpool v Cardiff

The feel-good factor that has been sweeping around Anfield will be heightened by the news that star striker Luis Suarez has signed a new contract and their mood entering this one is in stark contrast to that of Cardiff. Malky Mackay’s time at the helm of the Welsh side looks nearly up after the controversial owner apparently issued him an ultimatum to resign or face being sacked. Liverpool have been awesome in recent weeks, scoring at least 4 goals in their last 4 matches at home and I can see Suarez and co. wreaking havoc aagain. Cardiff have had a lot of success from set pieces this season and Liverpool still look vulnerable to defending them so a Buy of Total Goals looks a safe play here.

ADVICE

3pt BUY Total Goals @3.5

Man Utd v West Ham

There are definite signs that United are beginning to turn a corner under David Moyes with 3 straight wins in all competitions and I for one believe they will only get better and finish the season strongly. The Hammers will be buoyed by their Capital One Cup victory at Spurs but getting a result at Old Trafford looks way beyond them given their current league form with only 1 win in their last 8 matches. A Buy of United on the supremacy market should pay dividends here.

ADVICE

2pt BUY Man Utd / West Ham @1.6

Tottenham v Southampton

Spurs fans will be desperate for something to cheer after a horrible week which saw them lose 2 big matches and their manager. Things won’t get much easier here this weekend as they travel to face a confident Southampton side. I can see this being a very tight and nervy encounter and therefore will be looking to Sell the goals as I fancy 1 goal will win it and wouldn’t rule out a goalless draw.

ADVICE

2pt SELL Total Goals @2.45

Swansea v Everton

This promises to be a cracking game between two teams who are capable of playing some superb football. For me it’s Everton who come into the game with more confidence and I was very impressed with the way they performed during their 1-1 draw at the Emirates last weekend where they stood firm and never allowed Arsenal to get a foot-hold. Martinez is doing a terrific job and I can see them coming out on top in this one with Romelu Lukaku doing the damage.

ADVICE

2pt BUY Everton / Swansea @0.2
0.5pt BUY Lukaku Goal Minutes @27
