Man from Down Under to bounce back

Week 2 of the Premier League Darts tonight and the arrers circuit arrives in stormy Bournemouth.

Phil ‘the Power’ Taylor was mauled 7-0 Michael Van Gerwin last week and faces another tough match at the hands of Adrian ‘Jackpot’ Lewis.

The pair met just four days ago when Power won 6-2 and Taylor has a convincing head to head record over Lewis in this tournament (45-10).

Lewis slammed Aussie Simon Whitlock last week but the Aussie might be worth backing to bounce back against Gary Anderson tonight.

There’s not much between them on the head to head records (15-12 to Taylor) but Whitlock was under the weather with flu last week and might start playing some better arrers here. He won a poker tournament in Kingston this week too so will no doubt be on good terms with himself.
