Skipper’s Champions League Preview

Chelsea v Galatasaray

Chelsea (14/1 Outright) host Galatasaray (400/1 Outright) in tonight’s Champions league clash. Mourinho’s men have been getting the job done without looking to flashy so far this season. I can forgive them their slip at Villa a couple of days ago as plenty of other teams have faltered at Villa Park this season. Galatasary are sitting in second in SuperLig and with a host of stars such as Drogba, Hamit Altıntop and Wesley Sneijder they will give Chelsea a though game at Stamford Bridge.

2/5 Chelsea looks way to short to me, after a good performance at home I fully expect Galatasary to get something from the game and the 17/2 on offer for a Galatasary win looks too good to refuse.

Why not have an interest bet on Didi to score anytime back at his old stomping ground at a whopping 9/2. Can the Drog punish his old club for letting him go…

Real Madrid v Schalke

This game is already over. 6-1 from the first leg and it looks like Madrid are sailing towards the next round. Schalke could not deal with the likes of Ronaldo and Benzima who have racked up 40 La Liga goals between them already this term. I don’t see any reason Real Madrid should put out a first choice squad tonight. With the chances of a La Liga title now in the mix it would just be plain silly to see the like of Ronaldo even lacing up his boots. I expect the likes of Bale and Isco toget a run out tonight and still get the job done.

Buy Gareth Bale GM’s at 31 and Isco GM’s at 19.

Happy punting,

Skipper.
