PSG v Chelsea (7.45pm SKY)

Published On April 2, 2014 | By David S | Star Spreads

Profit of 11 points yesterday to start the April account in the best possible style !

I was keen on the draw on the basis that Bayern were too short and thankfully a make up of zero was good for our sell of Bayern at 1.1.

Back to the Champions League tonight and after both matches surprisingly ended in draws last night hopefully it will run a little more to form tonight.

If it does, I expect PSG to beat Chelsea with home advantage.

We are looking at a shade over evens on the fixed odds for PSG which looks fair enough for a team who are unbeaten in their last 28 European games at home and who are currently 13 points clear in their domestic league.

Chelsea have been rattled in the last fortnight with defeats on the road to Aston Villa and Crystal Palace which has seriously damaged their Premier League title hopes and handed the advantage firmly back to Liverpool and Man City. It’s hard to see that their away form is going to improve against an in-form French side, however they did win in Paris in 2004….

HEAD TO HEAD RECORD
(Max last 10 only)
Nov 2004 Ch League Chelsea 0-0 Paris St-G.
Sep 2004 Ch League Paris St-G. 0-3 Chelsea

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is clearly the ace in the pack for PSG. He has scored an amazing 43% of all PSG’s home goals this season. Mourinho knows all about Ibrahimovic from his days managing him at Inter.

Tonight, Mourinho is likely to recall Fernando Torres tonight up front with Samuel Eto’o injured.

I’m keeping it simple with buy of PSG on the Star Spreads supremacy at around 0.6.
