S.P. Read Esq. Brazil via, er, Lingfield

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq is all set for the World Cup but his more pressing business are the winning distances at Lingfield tonight.

Really annoying – can’t find any decent football to bet on tonight. Anyone would think a major tournament is on the horizon 😉

I’ll be previewing EVERY match during the World Cup (you have been warned in advance) with recommended bets on Star Spreads STARTING tomorrow with a look on the Outright Index market.

Before the World Cup, Lingfield tonight. A slightly unorthodox route to Brazil admittedly although, rather tenuously, Lingfield is situated close to Gatwick Airport !!

Lingfield winning distances are tonight set at 11.2-12 and it tempts me in as a buyer.

The first four races at Lingfield (starts 5.25pm) are on the turf course and it’s not unusual to see some runaway winners at Lingfield on the turf track and with a couple of small fields on the card I’m hopeful of beating the average of 1.75 lengths per race needed to turn a profit.

There’s a hot favourite in the four runner seller at 6.55 and the 7.55 also has just the four going to post. Hopefully both, or at least one of these can produce a wide margin winner.

So I’m buying at 12.
