League winners meet FA Cup winners in the Community Shield at Wembley this afternoon.

All the money so far has been for Arsenal but they face a Man City side who have looked good so far in their pre-season matches. Neutrals can look forward to Vanishing Spray being used for the first time in English football – hopefully however that won’t be the only talking point of the game !!

Man City have lost only one of their last eight games against Arsenal in all competitions (W4, D3).

Pre-season Man City beat Milan 5-1 and played out a 2-2 draw with Liverpool with Stevan Joevtic in good form.

A lot will obviously depend on how much either team wants to win this ahead of long season.

The last time Arsenal took part in the Community Shield was in 2005 when they lost 2-1 to Chelsea.
