SPreadNext time England are playing, remind me to preview the 3.07 at Monmore instead – I might have more luck and it will certainly be less damaging to this columns P&L.

I’ve no more to say about last night’s match. I’m completely fed up of trying to work out England 🙁

I didn’t exactly get Wales right on Friday night either. I thought Bosnia would prove too strong given the lengthy Wales injury list but they did well to hold out for a 0-0 draw in the end.

There were good chances at both ends and both keepers played blinders. For Wales Wayne Hennessey made excellent saves to deny Miralem Pjanic and Edin Dzeko whilst the Bosnian keeper Asmir Begovic found two good saves to deny Gareth Bale.

Wales are again on home territory tonight for their Group B clash against Cyprus at the Cardiff City Stadium where there will be again a full house.

Sorry to rehash Friday’s comments but the problem for Wales is again the injury list which has now grown to 11 and manager Chris Coleman admits that his side is down to the ‘bare bones’.

The latest casualty is midfielder Jonathan Williams who suffered an ankle injury in Friday’s match.

Given the injuries, Wales look far too short and I fully expect Cyprus to get something from this. They have shown some good form in their opening two games notably beating Bosnia 2-1 away from home in their opener.

They face a Welsh side who have won just two of their last seven home matches.

Corners isn’t usually a market I get attracted to as I find it one of the hardest to predict. For bookings (for example) you’ve always got team and referee history to fall back on.

However, rightly or wrongly, I’m tempted by a buy of corners tonight at 11. For no other reason than I think there will be plenty of goalmouth action at both ends (but not necessarily goals) and hopefully we can get seven or so in the bag by halftime to ensure a stress free second half !!
