Profitable trip to Kempton on Thursday for a sell of distances which made up at only 5.2 lengths !!

The November profit on the column now stands at 1,587 points.

The Premier League returns on Saturday and the highlight game is very much at the Emirates where Arsenal host Man U.

Two teams very much with a dose of the wobbles at the moment – Arsenal struggling to hold on to a lead and Man U struggling with team injuries.

Incredible really that both sides are currently out of the top five and the lucrative Champions League places are certainly no gimme this season for either team.

Arsenal certainly started the season well enough with a 3-0 win over Man City in the Community Shield but it’s their recent results that have set alarm bells ringing.

Their 3-3 draw against Anderlecht was inexplicable given they led 3-0 in that game and should have cruised to a Champions League win against their Belgian rivals.

Arsenal again threw away a lead against Swansea in the Premier League at the Liberty Stadium where they were beaten 2-1.

Man U have failed to win an away game in the Premier League this season but have have lost just one of their last 14 matches against Arsenal in all competitions.

The big problem for Man U fans and backers is their growing injury list. Daley Blind and Radamel Falcao are the latest players likely to miss this and there are also doubts on Luke Shaw and Michael Carrick who were injured on England duty.

In terms of a bet I am looking at the Star Spreads bookings market.

I’m a buyer at 59 which means I need six yellows (10 points) to show a profit – or, of course, a red at 25 points would help too.

Mike Dean can usually be relied on for some card action. He’s averaging 55.5 so far this season but in such an important and high profile game it’s not an unreasonable expectation to see him come in above average.
