S.P.Read Esq: Real Madrid v Liverpool
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Champions League action on Tuesday and the 7.45pm kick off between REAL MADRID v LIVERPOOL and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
There’s been little sign of a return to form for Liverpool since Real Madrid won the reverse leg 3-0 at Anfield and this looks a bridge too far for them at the Bernabeu.
Since the drubbing in the reverse leg Liverpool have had a 0-0 home draw against Hull, a 2-1 win over Liverpool and a 1-0 beating from Newcastle at the weekend when they looked particularly lacklustre.
Real Madrid are scoring goals for fun and have scored at least three goals in their last six matches and averaging over four in their last 10 games!
And just when you thought things couldn’t get much harder for Liverpool – up pops the news that Gareth Bale could be playing again for Real Madrid.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti said: “He’s ready to play. I don’t know if he will play from the off or on the bench.”
And For Liverpool it gets worse. Daniel Sturridge is “highly unlikely” to make a comeback despite travelling to Madrid because of a thigh and calf injury.
So where does that leave me for a bet?

I can’t see anything other than a convincing win for the hosts and whilst Star Spreads have set the buying bar quite high at 2.1 I still expected this superiority to be breached.
