Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the racing this afternoon at SOUTHWELL and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

Setback last night with the sell of the 1st match goal at White Hart Lane at 32 minutes 🙁

For a long time it looked as though there wasn’t going to be any goal so when the penalty arrived and was converted on 74 minutes it was a blessing, of sorts.

I’m going racing today to Southwell.

The Star Spreads price on distances 11.3 – 12.8 tempts me in as a buyer.

Southwell all-weather is a unique surface and it’s not unusual to see wide margin winners.

There’s an average 7 runners across the six-race card and I’m am hopeful of beating an average of 2.13 lengths needed to secure a profit.

Certainly the opening maiden will be a key race. It looks a match on paper and it would only take one of the runners to underperform. Lanai has never even raced on Polytrack let alone Fibresand so could easily not take to it.
