Is it just me or are Liverpool seemingly on the TV every time they play ?
No problems, just have lost count of the number of previews I’ve done involving Liverpool recently !! They head to Selhurst Park for what might be a tough encounter with Crystal Palace in the fifth round of the Cup (5.30pm BT SPORT).
Such have been the high profile casualties in the cup this season all the remaining teams will think they have, at the very least, a squeak of reaching Wembley.
Selhurst Park is a bogey ground for Liverpool who have failed to win in their last six visits and the home support that Palace get is second to none. They are also starting to play good football again under Alan Pardew.
Both teams are without their captains. Steven Gerrard is expected to be out for two to three weeks with a hamstring problem and Palace’s captain Mile Jedinak remains unavailable with an ankle problem.
