Plenty of goals for Liverpool is usually the standing order for Liverpool v Spurs.

Over the last four head to heads the aggregate is an astonishing:

Liverpool 15 Spurs 2

Liverpool are odds-on for the win but Spurs are ahead them in the table so far this season and could move into third spot with a win at Anfield tonight. It’s a big match for both sides with Champions League places the priority.

Spurs also come into this on the back of gutsy 2-1 win over Arsenal in the North London derby at the weekend and boss Mauricio Pochettino is likely to name an unchanged side.

For Liverpool Philippe Coutinho and Raheem Sterling are likely to be fit to start after both limped off on Saturday.

Spurs have a real force now in Harry Kane who has hit the back of the net 12 times this season and 10 of those goals have come from just nine starts. On the stat you’d happily take odds-on him scoring tonight !!

The strategy of double playing the bookings market and time of the third goal market on Star Spreads was rewarded on Sunday as I recouped 600 points and I think it might worth one more dabble tonight.

Tonight’s ref Phil Dowd is averaging 47 points a game this season so I am hopeful, with so much at stake, I can breach the 56 point level needed to secure a profit.

The 3rd goal market hasn’t been kind of late but if the last few games between these two are anything to go by hopefully there will be at least two in the bag before halftime.
