S.P.Read Esq: PSG v Barcelona

Published On April 15, 2015 | By S.P.Read Esq. | S.P.Read Esq

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Champions League match tonight on SKY between PSG v BARCELONA and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadHonours are shared between PSG and Barcelona in seven previous encounters and the question tonight is whether PSG’s remarkable home record (won their 24 home matches) can remain intact?

The key piece of team news is that PSG are without star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Verratti through suspension and they also have injury woes. Thiago Motta is out with a thigh injury whilst David Luiz has been named in the squad despite concerns over a hamstring injury.

On the other hand Barcelona have no fresh injury concerns but long term absentees Thomas Vermaelen, Jodri Masip, Douglas and Rafinha all set to miss out.

The French champions have struggled at this stage of the competition in the last two seasons losing on away goals to Barcelona and Chelsea.

We saw last night just how cagey and tight these matches can be at this stage of the tournament and the safest bet might to suggest that this will go the same way tonight.
