S.P.Read Esq: Hull City v Arsenal

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Premier League game today (8pm SKY) between HULL CITY v ARSENAL and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadIt’s tough at the top but even tougher at the bottom especially when it comes to the Premier League and the financial catastrophe relegation can spell.

Hull will go a long way to avoiding the drop if pulling off the shock and beating Arsenal tonight which in turn would put more pressure on the likes of Newcastle who surely could never have expected to get dragged into the relegation battle?

But the Magpies are now around a 5/1 chance for the drop and if they don’t start picking up points very quickly matters will be entirely out of their hands.

Hull have done a great job of digging themselves out of a hole with wins against Crystal Palace and Liverpool which ended a run of six games without a win.

A win against Arsenal will be tough – especially as the Gunners still have plenty to play for themselves in terms of an automatic pass through to the Champions League group phase.

Hull though really need to get something from this game bearing in mind their final two games are against Spurs and Man U.

Steve Bruce, Hull’s boss, has David Meyler available after suspension and top scorer Nikica Jelavic could also return to take a place on the bench.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has no new injuries to report.

Bookings make some appeal. The buy price of 41 is higher than tonight’s referee Lee Mason’s average (36) but with plenty at stake he might well get busy with the cards and continue the trend from the weekend of high bookings.
