S.P.Read Esq: Shkendija v Aberdeen

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Europa League Qualifier tonight (8.05pm Premier) between SHKENDIJA v ABERDEEN and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadThe Europa League qualifiers are underway tonight – it’s certainly the tournament that never sleeps. Some might have some other choice words for it. Purgatory, possibly?

Premier Sports are covering Shkendija v Aberdeen tonight. The first leg of it that is.

I don’t have much of a line on Macedonian form against Scottish form (forgive me!) but I do know that Shkendija have only kept one clean sheet in their last seven home games and they went out at this stage last season when beaten 3-2 by the Moldovian side Zimbru Chisinau.

On that basis Aberdeen, who reached the third qualifying round last season, look worthy favourites. They have travelled to Macedonia with a full strength side and have been boosted by the return of midfielder Kenny McLean who was injured in a pre-season friendly.
