S.P.Read Esq: Chelsea v Swansea City

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to late kick off on Saturday in the Premier League between CHELSEA v SWANSEA CITY and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadThe aggregate score last season between Chelsea and Swansea was 9-2 and it’s hard to argue a case for it being much different today as the defending champions will be keen to start the new season in style in front of their home crowd.

Chelsea are now unbeaten in their last 10 league meetings with Swansea, winning eight and the Swans have lost all four Premier League trips to Stamford Bridge.

If you pinning your hopes on a close game then the angle in will be the relatively poor pre-season friendly form for Chelsea but how much that will count for in the season proper is questionable.

Jose Mourinho said: “The real football starts today, I think everybody’s waiting for it. Let’s try to be a good team and be here in March or April speaking about winning something. I believe the teams who aren’t title contenders will be stronger, the gap between the top and others will be shorter.”

The big team news is that Diego Costa remains a doubt after sitting out the Community Shield last weekend.

For Swansea Jordi Amat is the only doubt with a foot problem.

Poor stuff with the recommended bet on the Brighton game last night but I’m repeating the trade on Star Spreads tonight with a sell of the time of the third match goal – this time selling at 75 minutes.
