S.P.Read Esq: Reading v Ipswich
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Championship match at 8pm tonight between READING v IPSWICH and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
Good result for the column yesterday with the recommended buy of distances at Laytown which resulted in a small profit.
‘Proper’ football returns tonight and I’d never thought I’d look forward to Reading v Ipswich so much but the qualifying rounds for the Euro 2016 are such a hiatus and a real spoiler just as the domestic season is building in momentum.
In reality though this is hardly likely to be the most exciting match of the weekend – probably not even tonight – Inverness CT v Hearts is on BT SPORT if action at the Madejski gets a bit dull. Reading’s home form has been woeful and they have failed to even score a goal at home for six games and are up against a side who have scored in each of their last nine away games which has helped them to move into third in the Championship table.
Striker Matej Vydra is expected to make his Reading debut but the home side will be without defender Paul McShane.
Ipswich should be boosted by the return of defender Christophe Berra (hamstring) together with strikers Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick (groin).
