S.P.Read Esq: Chelsea v Dynamo Kiev
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Champions League 7.45pm kick off on Wednesday between CHELSEA v DYNAMO KIEV and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
Another busy night of Champions League action and I’m hoping to follow up last night’s successful recommendation.
I was on a BUY of the third match goal at Old Trafford with Star Spreads and it never really looked in danger.
Chelsea and Arsenal are both in action tonight and I’m heading to Stamford Bridge for the visit of Dynamo Kiev – the reverse fixture finished 0-0, although Chelsea did completely dominate the match – if that’s not a contradiction in terms.
The Chelsea faithful (and not to mention Mourinho) definitely need SOMETHING to happen tonight which COULD be a springboard. Dynamo Kiev have never won in 12 previous trips to England and Chelsea should be able to convert the possession they had out in Ukraine into a win here.
You would think the importance of winning this match for Chelsea can’t be underestimated but that’s not a factor for Mourinho who said: “Wednesday is not a must-win game, it’s a must-not-lose game, so if we draw and then win the last two matches we will qualify.”
True, but a win tonight would certainly makes life easier as they could even top the table if FC Porto lose. Chelsea face Maccabi in their penultimate match and finish the group stage by hosting Mourinho’s former club Porto.
Radamel Falcao will be out for a few weeks after suffering a muscular injury in yesterday’s training session in Cobham.
Branislav Ivanovic and Pedro could be back but Chelsea’s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois remains out with a knee injury.

After tonight there can no longer be any more excuses for Chelsea. Mourinho has dismissed reports of a ‘players revolt’ – a win tonight would at least boost confidence and even if it’s just papering over the cracks it’s a start.
I’m buying Chelsea on the win index at 18 with Star Spreads. I expect the win, a draw is damage limitation and a loss unthinkable, for Chelsea as much as me.
