S.P.Read Esq: Arsenal v Chelsea

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Premier League game on Sunday between ARSENAL v CHELSEA and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

Better result yesterday.

But it’s been a bad month so far and the trumpet is firmly locked away. A good profit though yesterday with the recommended sell of the third match goal at Carrow Road. The only disappointment, being greedy, was that the third goal didn’t come earlier than 41 minutes given there were NINE goals in the match.

That surely will now break Norwich – a physically and mentally torturous game.

At the top of the table Leicester march on and on and on…. Man City didn’t do their own cause much good with a 2-2 draw against West Ham and all of a sudden the Foxes have a three point lead. Until 4pm this afternoon that is, when Arsenal get the chance to go back to the top of the table if they can secure all three points against London rivals Chelsea in what promises to be the match of the weekend (although Norwich v Liverpool are in the clubhouse with a healthy advantage on that front).

Chelsea have shown improved form with the exit of Mourinho but it could hardly have got much worse. It’s sobering to think the Champions are just four points off the relegation zone and have tricky matches ahead, away to Watford and at home to Man U in a busy period which will also see them away to the MK Dons in the FA Cup.

Arsenal were involved in one of the games of the season so far with a 3-3 draw against Liverpool (yes, ANOTHER late 90th minute goal from Liverpool in that match too) and were held 0-0 by a resilient Stoke at the Britannia in their latest match.

They’ll get a boost from the return of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil who are fit again after respective hamstring and foot injuries.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said: “Even if Chelsea are not in the best position, look at their squad. It’s a big game because of the quality of the players on the pitch. We play at the Emirates and know how important it will be to win this game.”
