S.P.Read Esq: Liverpool v Man U (WITH GOALS BONUS)
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Premier League game on Sunday between LIVERPOOL v MAN U and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
Sunderland’s 40th minute goal on Saturday was a welcome respite for the column after a few heavy losses. A profit of 540 points to the recommended Star Spreads trade and hopefully I can build on that on Sunday.
It’s been a weekend of goals so far in the Premier League:
24 goals in six games and even my maths can work out that’s been an average of four a game so far !!
Arsenal get the chance to go back to the top of the table if they can get just a draw or better away to Stoke but the match of the day is without doubt at Anfield for Liverpool v Man U at 2.05pm.
Can the recent spate of goals continue ?? Both sides were involved in midweek 3-3 draws with plenty of first half goals too.
Star Spreads have a special BUYERS BONUS offer on this match for total goals buyers:
The Total Goals market is set at 2.3-2.5
But the special bonus kicks in if there are 3 or more first half goals where Star Spreads will add a bonus goal for total goals buyers AND if the final score is 3-3 they will add THREE bonus goals for total goals buyers !!!
(Max bonus per client €/£ 400)
It certainly is an offer that tempts me as this head to head (see below) has only failed to produce a minimum of three goals on two occasions from the last 10. Man U have had well-documented problems in finding the back of the net recently but they may be able to start putting that behind them with a new spring in their step after their dramatic 3-3 draw at St James’ Park which extended their unbeaten sequence to four games.
Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Arsenal was one of the matches of the season so far and on balance a fair result on the night. Jurgen Klopp’s men are on a fair run of form themselves having lost just one of their last six games.
The only worry, for supporters of both teams is whether fatigue will become a factor. They have both been kept busy and had some pretty testing games recently.
Liverpool, in particular, have a lengthy injury list. Defender Dejan Lovren will still not be fit after his hamstring injury and none of the other sidelined players are close to match fitness including Daniel Sturridge.
