S.P.Read Esq: FC Midtjylland v Man Utd

Man U are Rooneyless but that hasn’t stopped punters wanting to back them and they have shortened quite significantly ahead of this last 32 first leg tie.
Given Man U’s Premier League placing, this tournament might well take on a bigger significance than normal – the same goes for the FA Cup and they take on League One Shrewsbury on Monday in what should be a relatively easy ticket through to the quarter finals.
Certainly ANY cup run is likely to buy Louis van Gaal some more time.
Man U were poor against Sunderland when last seen having been on the backfoot from as early as the third minute when Wahbi Khazri gave the hosts the lead.
There should be a reaction from that match and even a below par Man U should be seeing off this Danish side who have not even played since December (on a winter break) and are on a run of seven losses from their last 10 games.
Midtjylland were beaten 5-0 and 4-1 in the group stages by Napoli which showed them up for what they are when meeting better class teams.
