S.P.Read Esq: Man U v Bournemouth

Actually for Sunday, before the match was abandoned in quite bizarre circumstances.

The circumstances of this match have changed quite a bit too – Swansea needed to beat Man City to give Man U remaining hope of a Champions League spot and we can safely assume that won’t now happen. Unless Man U win by 19-0 !!!!

Man U still need a point for an automatic Europa League qualification spot but you can’t help but think that their attentions will now switch to the FA Cup Final on Saturday which adds a few more question marks for punters in terms of tonight’s game.

Bournemouth were long odds-on favourites to be relegated at the start of the season but have performed heroics – not only in staying up but also never really getting dragged into the relegation dogfight.

Eddie Howe’s side memorably beat Man U 2-1 in December and chase a remarkable double.

Man U are likely to be without defenders Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian through injury. Adnan Januzaj is also out with a hamstring injury, Marouane Fellaini is banned, whilst Bastian Schweinsteiger and Luke Shaw are still injured.

A good result last night in the Brighton game with the buy of bookings at 45 – the market made up at a juicy 80.

I’ll stick with my original recommendation of a sell of the third match goal – at 73 minutes. With pressure off both sides I’m hoping the goals will flow.
