S.P.Read Esq: Wales v Belgium (Euro 2016 Friday)

Collected on the UNDER 2.5 goals last night which was a major relief given how early Poland scored but lost on the Poland 90 minute bet.
Star Sports fixed odds tweeted earlier today about Belgium being on the drift ahead of tonight’s second quarter-final against Wales.
It’s easy to see why punters are wanting to take on Belgium. If qualifying is anything to go by, Wales should have nothing to fear. They beat Belgium 1-0 a year ago in Wales and held them 0-0 in the reverse leg back in 2014.
Both sides will be boosted by the return of their respective captains. Ashley Williams has recovered from his shoulder injury and Belgium captain Eden Hazard is also fit again after a thigh injury.
If Wales were to make it through it would be their first ever semi-final of a major tournament – they are already enjoying their best run since the 1958 World Cup when they lost 1-0 to the mighty Brazil.
Gareth Bale believes the win against Belgium in qualifiers gives them an edge.
He said: “We’re like their bogey team, aren’t we? Hopefully that edge gets into their heads – you never know. We will definitely draw on those qualifiers. We know how to play against them and how they play.”

Belgium have been slow burners in this tournament but are coming to the boil at the right time. They haven’t conceded in their last three games and I expect them to prove too strong for the spirited Welsh side.
