Europa League action comes to the swanky new London Arena (AKA Olympic Stadium) tonight with the Hammers playing host to Astra Giurgiu in their play-off match which finished 1-1 after the first leg in Romania.
The away goal rule could be a big factor but West Ham boss Slaven Bilic said “We are not going to protect the away goal. It gives you an advantage but you cannot hang on for 90 minutes. We will play a normal game.”
West Ham had a depleted side for their Premier League debut in their new home but came through 1-0 winners against Bournemouth and are long odds-on to follow that up with another success tonight.
However, they still have many injury concerns. Andy Carroll, Andre Ayew, Aaron Cresswell, Sofiane Feghouli all remain injured and Dimitri Payet is likely to continue to be rested.
