Early stages of the season but this will be seen as a key match for Arsenal who can get right into the top of the table bubble if securing all three points. Equally, for newly promoted Burnley this is an opportunity for them to leap to ninth in the table.
Both sides come into the match in good form, particularly the visitors who have only lost one game all this season and are now four wins in a row including an impressive 3-0 win over Chelsea in their latest league game.
Burnley have recorded 2-0 wins over both Liverpool and Watford already this season and will take the exit of the League Cup at the hands of Accrington on the chin if it means better form in the league. Manager Sean Dyche is likely to field the same side today that beat Watford.
The head to head record doesn’t give Burnley much hope – they have lost their last four encounters against the Gunners by an aggregate of 9-2.
Burnley have only managed 15 shots on target in six Premier League games this season and are up against a team scoring for fun so I can only see this going one way.
