S.P. Read Esq: Chelsea v Leicester

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Saturday’s Premier League game between CHELSEA v LEICESTER and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadEngland underperforming is rapidly becoming the gift that keeps on giving and a nice result for the column with the BUY of the first match goal in Slovenia hitting the jackpot with the 0-0.

Thankfully, domestic action returns this weekend. I never thought I’d be so pleased to see Cardiff City v Bristol City on the box on Friday – that’s the match the signals the end of the torturous break and things can get moving again.

First Premier League game of the weekend should be a cracker – the last two champions in action at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea taking on Leicester in the Battle Of The Blues. The last match isn’t bad either, Liverpool facing Man U on Monday night.

Chelsea and Leicester drew this same fixture last year 1-1 but it came during the period that Leicester were playing above themselves and Chelsea poorly – so the scales should be firmly tilted back in the hosts favour given the respective starts to the season.

The two sides clashed in the Capital One in September with Chelsea running out 4-2 winners (in extra time) at the King Power Stadium which reinforced the fact that Chelsea are seemingly the better side this season.

Chelsea have five points in hand over Leicester after a great start to the season which saw them win their first three league games before coming unstuck with a draw away to Swansea and losses at the hands of Liverpool and Arsenal.

Leicester haven’t won away from home in the league yet and are uncharacteristically finding scoring hard with just two gaols in their last three games.

Leicester also have the distraction of a fast-approaching Champions League date with Copenhagen on Tuesday which I think could be a major factor here.

It has to be Chelsea all the way for me. I think there will be plenty of goals (mainly in Leicester’s net) so am selling the time of the third match goal at 72 minutes with Star Spreads.
