S.P. Read Esq: Liverpool v WBA
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Saturday’s Premier League game between LIVERPOOL v WBA and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
I feel like I’ve got a free raffle ticket today as I was considering previewing the earlier Bournemouth v Spurs game and it’s safe to say that there is no way I would have got the 0-0 right there. There you go, I’m after-timing a loser !!!
Plenty of people are expecting the floodgates to open at Anfield in the tea-time kick off. Liverpool to win by three goals or more is a 5/2 chance with Star Sports fixed odds.
Depending on what happens at the Emirates, Liverpool may get the chance to go to the top of the table with West Brom currently in 12th.
I’m not sure it will be a wide margin win for Liverpool though. They are playing good football this season but West Brom are going along well nicely enough despite a poor away record which has seen them win just one of their last 12 games.
They are however strong in defence which might just hold up and frustrate the hosts – for a while at least.
They will also be up for the occasion. West Brom head coach Tony Pulis said: “We know Liverpool is going to be a really tough game. Their front five are exceptional.
“Jurgen Klopp is passionate and that is important in the game and important for Liverpool. They’ve got a good chance this year.
“The games that are coming up are difficult but ones we should embrace. Anfield is wonderful.”
