S.P. Read Esq: Stoke v Swansea

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Monday’s Premier League game between STOKE v SWANSEA and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadThe fixture list computer could surely have come up with a better Halloween treat than Stoke v Swansea – 17th play 19th – more ghouls about than goals one suspects from these two.

Stoke have recovered from a desperate start to the season and are on for the hat-trick after wins against Sunderland and Hull with draws against West Brom and Man U.

Stoke’s manager Mark Hughes said: “We’re looking forward to the Swansea game. It won’t be easy. I think Swansea are a little bit like ourselves where they’ve got a lot of quality and you feel they’re in a false position. I’m sure the new manager will have a way of playing that he’ll want to implement as quickly as he can.”

Swansea have gone the opposite way this season. An opening away win against Burnley has been followed by six Premier League defeats and two draws with Chelsea and Watford.

Bob Bradley is now in charge of the Swans and fans will no doubt be hoping for the ‘bounce’ in form that can often happen with a new manager at the helm.

A blow-out with the bookings trade yesterday but I am stepping in again tonight in a match could be a real dogfight.

Last time Michael Oliver refereed at the Britannia he dolled out five yellows and two reds. I’d settle for half of that tonight.
