Arsenal will take comfort from the fact that they have never been beaten by PSG in three previous European matches which have amassed just five goals.
PSG have made a solid enough start to their domestic season but are ‘only’ third in Ligue 1, three points behind Nice.
The Gunners remain unbeaten since the opening day of the season but were lucky to come away with a point on Saturday at Old Trafford – a match which Man U dominated.
The pair can’t be split so far in Group A in the Champions League, each on 10 points, with Arsenal having the better goal difference. Crucially though, both sides have already qualified for the knock out phase. This adds a conundrum for punters although Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has insisted he will field a strong side. There’s still the carrot of a favourable draw in the next phase for the Group winners.
