S.P. Read Esq: Southampton v Hapoel Be’er Sheva
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Thursday’s Europa League clash between SOUTHAMPTON v HAPOEL BE’ER SHEVA and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
The reverse fixture between Southampton v Hapoel Be’er Sheva finished 0-0 in September and given Southampton haven’t exactly found scoring goals easy recently I’m not sure we can expect too much action tonight.
In fairness though, the Saints have been much better at home – beating Inter and Sparta Prague and scoring nine goals in four Europa League games.
The fact that Hapoel need to score to stand any chance of progression might also open up tonight’s game.
The Saints need either a win or a goalless draw to make certain of a place in the last 32 but a win for Hapoel or a score draw would see the Israel side progress instead from Group K with Sparta Prague already booking their place in the knockout phase.
