Swansea’s first ever win at Anfield prevented Liverpool from going second in the table earlier today and Spurs have the chance to get within four points of leaders Chelsea if they can pull off a win at the Etihad in the 5.30pm televised game.

They have lost two of their last three games and it was alarming to see them routed 4-0 by Everton in their most recent game – despite dominating possession.
All of a sudden there’s plenty of pressure on Guardiola who needs to avoid defeat.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino said of his counterpart: “I know Pep Guardiola very well, he’s a great manager, one of the best.
“When you arrive at a new club you need to adapt your values to a new culture, and it’s difficult, but I don’t change my opinion of him.
“I am not someone who judges other people. The expectation was massive when Guardiola signed.
“People thought he would win the Premier League after 10 games. That’s impossible. But I have no doubt that with time he will be a success.”
