Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Saturday’s Premier League clash between CHELSEA v ARSENAL and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
It’s high noon (or more accurately, given the early kick off, ‘half noon’) at Stamford Bridge on Saturday for the London derby between Chelsea and Arsenal with the hosts having the chance to pull 12 points clear at the top of the table.
It really could be all over bar the shouting unless Arsenal can find a way past Chelsea like they did in 2011 with a 5-3 win.
Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte said: “Anything can happen. It’s important to keep the antenna very high.
“If someone thinks that the league is finished, I’m not so sure. I want to have this tension, this right tension.
“In the past I fight to win the title and I know we must pay great attention. There are 15 games to play and there are a lot of great teams behind us.
“We all know the real potential of Manchester City.”
The Gunners will take comfort from the fact that they beat Chelsea 3-0 in the reverse fixture this season – though suffered a big reverse earlier this week with a 2-1 loss against Watford.
However, the Gunners have lost their last four games at Stamford Bridge, conceding 12 goals and scoring just one.
