S.P. Read Esq: Bristol City v Man U
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Wednesday’s EFL Cup Quarter Final between BRISTOL CITY v MAN U and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
The goals weren’t exactly flowing in the EFL Cup games last night and I think it could be a similar story tonight in the two remaining quarter finals.
The TV cameras are at Bristol City who have a big date with Man U and it might not be as one-sided as the market suggests.
Bristol City have already done plenty of giant-killing to get this far and are flying in the Championship.
They’ve also lost just one of their last 10 games contributing to their third place in the table.
Their manager Lee Johnson said: “It is a fantastic game. When Man Utd come to town, I think it always brings that feeling of it being a big tie, and this club hasn’t had it for a long time, probably back to people like Brian Tinnion and that iconic goal against Liverpool.
“The players have got to feel somebody could be that hero in this game.
“We respect the fact they are going to have a world-class XI, whichever one they choose to put out. However, we are in good form, and I think the players’ confidence is as good as it could be.”
The head to head stats below are a little faded – they haven’t met since 1980.
Man U are of course having a great season but are not scoring in the same quantity as they were earlier in the season and may need some time to settle into this.
