Tricky final match in the latest Premier League set of fixtures with Crystal Palace taking on Arsenal at Selhurst Park.
I’m not sure I’d be in a rush to back the Gunners at odds-on for this game. Palace are playing much better under Roy Hodgson and Arsenal’s away form is patchy to say the least.
There’s far much more at stake for Palace tonight – a win for them would see them move from 16th to 13th in the table whereas Arsenal would remain in sixth, even if securing all three points.
Palace won the corresponding fixture 3-0 last season and Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger will be wary of facing a Palace side now in better current form.
Palace are now on an eight-match unbeaten run (W3, D5) – their longest top-flight run since a 12-match stretch in October 1990.
Wenger said: “What we want is to stop conceding goals, stop missing chances, but as well I want [my players] all to continue to play with the same spirit, the same determination and the same love of the game.”
