Chelsea are hot favourites to make short work of their opposition after being held 0-0 at Norwich 11 days ago.

In that match Chelsea put up an experimental team that didn’t really click against a steadfast Norwich side, though in fairness neither side really looked like doing enough to win with the hosts seemingly happy to defend against a toothless Chelsea.

Chelsea’s manager Antonio Conte could probably do without this replay, slotted in to an already busy schedule so is expected to field a stronger team tonight. Norwich Manager Daniel Farke is under no illusions saying ‘Chelsea will be there with a really good squad. They might bring some fresh players in, but I expect they will be focused We are going there without pressure. We’re looking forward to it and will see what happens.’

While Chelsea really ought to win at home they will be without Cesc Fabregas. Norwich are unbeaten in their last five matches and only conceded one goal so are likely to try and close shop for as long as possible against the Blues. The longer they frustrate them the more chance of a shock from a breakaway but the execution could be the chink in their armour.

Norwich will be up for this, the players more likely to enjoy the experience with something to prove. Their illustrious opponents on the other hand are more likely to see this game as a hindrance. I’m going for Norwich to frustrate Chelsea for much of the match with ultimately class telling and a victory for Chelsea.

Again, I’m a seller of the third match goal.
