Two Champions League last 16 second leg games on Tuesday and whilst there is English interest at Anfield with Liverpool hosting Porto, the fact that Liverpool left Portugal with a 5-0 first leg lead surely means this one will be a dead rubber?

The other match does look of interest though. European heavyweights PSG taking on Real Madrid in Paris with the hosts needing to turn around a 3-1 deficit BUT do have an away goal.

There has been plenty of early money about for PSG today (3/1 to qualify with starsports.bet) but their task has been made incalculably harder with Neymar’s season-ending absence due a broken foot.

PSG defender Dani Alves still has hope. He said: “Either we sit down and cry, or we get up and do what we have to do.

“With Neymar, PSG are stronger, and without Neymar we are still strong because there are other players.

“For sure, we will feel his absence. But I insist that between sitting down and crying and getting up and getting on with it, I always opt for the second option.”

Whilst PSG are unbeaten in all competitions at the Parc des Princes this season, they have failed to defeat Real Madrid in their three previous Champions League encounters.
