We might still only be in August (well only just) but it’s hard to imagine a bigger match at this stage of the season than Leeds v Middlesbrough at the top of the Championship.
After bright starts to the season, both sides are locked on 13 points after five games and a win for either would send them six points clear of third placed Bolton ahead of the international break. Points very much in the bag.
There was little to choose between the pair last season, Leeds winning 2-1 here at Elland Road and Boro getting their revenge with a 3-0 win at the Riverside.
Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa is likely to revert to the side that saw off Norwich in style last weekend after heavily rotating his squad for the midweek Carabao Cup loss against Preston.
For Boro Tony Pulís could name a similar starting side to the one that beat West Brom a week ago.
